The Saint Rocco’s Feast has ancient roots: established in 1641 by the Grand Duke Cosimo II de ‘Medici, it was a large cattle walkway, with exchanges and contracts between the farmers, in view of the urgent work of plowing the fields, but also of the various woolen and poultry, mixed grains, seasonal fabrics and fruit.
Today it is characterized by a large street market with over 100 exhibitors along viale Marconi, from the renowned Farmer-Market where you can buy excellent products at 0 km at affordable prices and a great food stand, where you can taste the typical dishes of Romagna. Animation for adults and children, live music and performances by street performers crown the festival in mid-August.
