The path dedicated to San Vicinio da Sarsina, revered as a holy miracle worker, allows both religious pilgrims and hikers to enjoy extraordinary historical, naturalistic and religious testimonies. The Sanctuary, built in Sarsina, is the starting and return point of the path which is about 320 km long and is divided into numerous stages and variations.
Thanks to the itinerary it is possible to discover great centers of Christian spirituality, such as the Santuario della Verna e l’Abbazia camaldolese of Bagno di Romagna. Moreover, alongside these most famous places of worship, small sanctuaries are also scattered on the territory, such as the sanctuary of the “Madonna degli Occhi” in Pondo di Santa Sofia, the sanctuary of Sant’Ellero in Galeata and that of Sant’Alberico.
