The Church/shrine dedicated to the fallen

In memory of the fallen of the first world war

Originally, the Church was dedicated to Saint Anthony but in 1934 it was rebuilt and turned into a Shrine. The façade is producing small hanging arches, a central rose window and a lunette depicting the Madonna and child with angels. To access the church dedicated to the fallen, you must take a double stone staircase. At the foot of the stairs there is a fountain and a small garden which contains a bas-relief carved in stone that seems to represent a Palm tree.

Behind the shrine is placed on Parco della Rimembranza where, in the shade of the cypresses, are places of remnants of war and small plaques inscribed with the names of the fallen.
