The church of San Giovanni Battista, which stands on the main square of the city, has three windows decorated by the Sienese painter Oscar Staccioli and two oil paintings by the painter Pietro Milzani from Brescia. The paintings depict respectively the Madonna and San Rocco: the painting of the Madonna is a copy of the “Madonna del Suffragio” by Guido Reni, kept in Bologna.
The bell tower holds two bells made of bronze, one is dated “A.D.1756” and the other bears the date “A.D. 1835”, the latter was commissioned by the Grand Duke Leopold II and bears the coat of arms of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany.
