To enjoy a walk immersed in the famous chestnut woods of Monte Scarabattole it is necessary to take the CAI path 517 which starts from Marradi. After passing the Rai antenna you reach the summit of Monte Scarabattole.
Through a narrow path you cross the beautiful Castagneto of “Monte Rotondo” and the renowned Castagneto of the farm of “Pian della Quercia”. Continuing along the path you arrive at the Abbey of Santa Reparata and then take the SR 74 which leads back to Marradi.
