Palazzuolo sul Senio preserves an old town full of buildings of great value. The oldest part of the town consists of the central Via Borgo dell’Ore, which leads to Piazza del Grano which, during the Middle Ages, was home to the grain market. Piazza Garibaldi, instead, offers beautiful arcades that surround the fourteenth-century Palazzo dei Capitani.
Near the palace there is a splendid monumental fountain, surrounded by a staircase that leads to the seventeenth-century Chiesa dei SS. Carlo and Antonio. Nearby you can also visit the Santuario della Madonna delle Nevi of Quadalto of 1400 and the Badia di Susinana.
