Street food festival
The next 17-18-19 May 2019 in Bagno di Romagna it takes place a weekend totally dedicated to street food, waiting for the 12th edition of the International Food Festival of Strada®, which will take place in Cesena the next 4-5-6 October 2019 .
Among the many delicacies typical of the area, you can also enjoy specialties from all over Italy and the world, such as:
SICILY (Palermo) – Pani ca’meusa, panelle, rice balls, cannoli, etc.
ABRUZZO (Chieti) – sheep kebabs, sheep burgers, etc.
LEBANON – Shawarma, falafel pita, baba ganoush, baklava, etc.
JAPAN – Kushinobo, buns, etc.
ARGENTINA – Entrecote of Angus argentina, empanadas, mixed grill, etc.
MEXICO – Tortillas, burritos, tacos, totopos, guacamole, etc.
The event, organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Bagno di Romagna, the Bellappennino Savio-Tevere association, the Pro Loco of Bagno di Romagna, “The Three Baths of Bagno di Romagna”, the A. Bagnese, La Crocina, will be held in Piazza Ricasoli, in the heart of the Municipality. In addition to the culinary stend, the three tours will be animated by music shows and entertainment on the road.
The initiative was born in Cesena in 2000, the first of its kind in Italy, and aims to promote the extraordinary encounter of cultures that street food has always represented as the oldest and most authentic form of catering, not only in Italy but throughout the world.
