In dialect it means “lume a marzo”, and it means greeting the spring: this is the meaning of “Lom a Merz”, the traditional appointment that this year is renewed on 3 March 2019 in Castrocaro.
A large bonfire at the medieval castle, fed by figures in historical costumes, which still remains a fascinating sight not to be missed.
