The Chiesa di San Sisto a Pereto was built at the beginning of the nineteenth century to replace the church titled San Marino, which was destroyed by a landslide. Here are the remains of blessed Agnese, as well as a painting depicting a miraculous event of the Blessed and a statue of the Regina del Santissimo Rosario.
It is said that the inhabitants of Pereto and those of San Piero in Bagno gave rise to hard fights to obtain the remains of the Blessed: according to tradition, the Saint intervened in favor of the Peretani unleashing a terrible storm that made the opponents desist.
