Inside the Fortezza, the Court also deserves a visit, inside which there are three troglodytic caves, and which hosts, in the upper part, a seventeenth century olive tree. from the extinct genome in the world; the well-cistern, with a very rare plant for the potabilization of meteoric water and the Torre delle Segrete, with a panoramic “battagliera”.
The Palazzo del Castellano, still in the Fortezza complex, houses the Museo Storico-Archeologico, with weapons, majolica, paintings, furnishings and furnishings from the medieval and Renaissance periods. In the same building, the Proloco has also set up the Enoteca dei Vini Pregiati Locali, present in the “Strada del vino e dei sapori delle colline di Forlì e Cesena”.
Finally, other noteworthy places of the Fortress are the entrance doors, the Camino di Ronda, the Corpo di guardia, the Chiesa di Santa Barbara and the Sala dei Tormenti.
