The architecture of the twenty years in the Forlì district from Forlì to predappio in Castrocaro Terme. The idea of ??a new “Forma Urbis Fori Livii” by the fascist regime was accompanied by an effective architectural transformation of parts of the city.
Predappio was added to the list of dwellings that had to change site in June 1925. The two centers of the new urban structure were pointed out in the native house of Mussolini and in Palazzo Varano, signifying the two fundamental places of life of the Duce.
At the beginning of the 1930s the real attraction of Castrocaro was the Parco delle Terme, famous for its luxuriant vegetation and for the entertainments that could be found there. Between 1936 and 1938 the new Thermal Compendium was built, Tito Chini not only decorated the new architectures with sumptuous apparatus, but intervened to modify even the architectural projects themselves, whose construction was scrupulously followed.
