Chiesa di Riofreddo, named after San Michele Arcangelo, can be traced back to an ancient era. Some testimonies confirm its existence as early as 1373.
In 1955 the building was rebuilt from its foundations, destroyed by the terrible earthquakes of 1918 and 1919. The church consists of a single nave with an apse and several decorated glass windows.
